Terms of Purchase

Hi, I'm Jess. These terms explain what you get when you buy one of my programs, what I ask of you, and what I can and can't promise. I've kept them as plain as I can, but they are a real agreement, so please read them before you buy.

In these terms, "we," "us" and "our" mean Joyful With Purpose LLC, the Kentucky company behind jesswinkler.com, Work With Joy, The VA Starter Kit and The Ready Room. "You" means the person buying or using a program. By completing a purchase, checking the agreement box at checkout, or using a program, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can buy

You must be at least 18 years old to buy or use our programs. By purchasing, you confirm that you are, and that the information you give at checkout is accurate.

2. What you're buying

The VA Starter Kit

• A one-time purchase that includes the Starter Kit video lessons and downloadable worksheets.
• Lifetime access means access for as long as we offer the Starter Kit. If we ever retire it, we'll email you at least 30 days ahead so you can download your worksheets.
• It does not include the full Work With Joy program, The Ready Room community, live calls or job leads.

Work With Joy

• Includes the Work With Joy course and The Ready Room community, offered together. They aren't sold separately.
• Access lasts one (1) year from your purchase date.
• It's not a subscription. You won't be charged again at the end of your year. We may offer renewal options or special pricing by email before your access ends. Renewal pricing, terms and eligibility are up to us and may vary.

Other programs and services

Coaching, VIP Days, the Joyful VA Team and Joyful Web Design may come with their own agreement or proposal. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the specific agreement for that service wins.

3. Prices and payment

• You pay the price shown at checkout, in US dollars, plus any tax that applies. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects a purchase you've already made.
• Coupons and promotional pricing apply only as described in the offer, can't be combined unless we say so, and have no cash value.
• If we offer a payment plan and you choose it, you agree to pay every installment. If a payment fails and isn't fixed, your access may be paused until your account is up to date. Choosing a payment plan doesn't change the refund policy.
• Payments are handled by secure third-party processors. Charges appear on your statement as JESSWINKLER.COM.

4. The Starter Kit upgrade credit

If you buy The VA Starter Kit, you can put the $147 you paid toward Work With Joy:

• We email you a personal code right after your purchase. It applies your credit, along with any launch pricing in effect at the time, at the Work With Joy checkout.
• The code is good for 5 days from your Starter Kit purchase, works once, and can only be used by you.
• The credit has no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged for a refund, and can't be combined with other coupons. After 5 days it expires, and you're always welcome to join Work With Joy at the current price.

5. Refunds

• All sales are final. Because you get immediate access to digital content and downloads, we don't give refunds on any initial purchase, including The VA Starter Kit and Work With Joy.
• We don't give partial refunds for time you didn't use, lessons you didn't finish, or access that ended because these terms were broken.
• Renewals follow whatever refund terms we share when we offer the renewal.
• If something isn't working, like you can't log in or a download won't open, email [email protected] and we'll fix it.
• Please talk to us before contacting your bank. If you file a chargeback or payment dispute for a purchase made under these terms, we may pause your access while it's resolved, and we'll share your purchase record and agreement with the payment processor.

6. Your account and access

• Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the program yourself. One purchase is for one person.
• Please keep your login private. Sharing your account, or letting someone else use it, can lead to your access being removed without a refund.
• Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think someone else is using your account.
• We keep improving our programs, so lessons, bonuses, tools and schedules may change, be updated or be replaced over time.

7. Using our materials

All program content, including videos, worksheets, templates, guides, emails and recordings, belongs to Joyful With Purpose LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark law.

• You may use the worksheets and templates to plan and run your own business and to serve your own clients.
• You may not copy, share, resell, post publicly, or repackage the materials into your own course, membership, coaching program or product, or use them to train AI tools, without our written permission.

8. The Ready Room community

The Ready Room works because members feel safe to ask questions and share. When you join, you agree to:

• Be kind and respectful. No harassment, discrimination or bullying.
• Keep what members share inside the community, and don't share other members' information outside it.
• Not promote, sell or recruit members without permission, and no spam.
• Not share anything illegal, confidential to a client, or that belongs to someone else.

Live calls may be recorded and shared with members. We may remove posts or members who don't follow these guidelines. Removal for breaking them doesn't come with a refund.

9. Job leads, tools and other websites

• When we share job leads or connect you with businesses, we're not your employer or agent and we can't promise you'll be hired. Any work arrangement is between you and that business, including pay, contracts and taxes.
• We may recommend tools, apps and services. Some links may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend things we use or believe in, but we aren't responsible for other companies' products, websites or policies.

10. Earnings and results disclaimer

We teach skills and share what has worked for us and for others. We can't promise that you will earn any particular amount of money, land clients or reach any particular result.

• Any income, client numbers or results mentioned on our website, in emails, in programs or on social media are examples. They are not typical, and they are not a promise of what you will earn.
• Testimonials and success stories come from real people, but their results reflect their own experience, skills, effort and circumstances. Your results may be different.
• Your results depend on many things outside our control, including your effort, consistency, prior experience, the time you can give, your market and the economy.
• Starting any business involves risk. Building a VA business takes time, and many people earn little or nothing at first.

Educational purposes only

Our programs are for education and information. They are not legal, tax, accounting, financial or other professional advice. Before you make decisions about business structure, contracts, taxes, insurance or licensing, please talk to a qualified professional. You're responsible for setting up and running your business in line with the laws where you live and work.

11. No warranties

We work hard to make our programs useful and to keep them running smoothly, but they are provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we don't make any warranties, whether express or implied, including that the programs will meet your needs, always be available, or be error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Joyful With Purpose LLC, Jess Winkler and our team, contractors and partners won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data or lost business opportunities, that come from your use of, or inability to use, our programs. Our total liability for any claim related to a program is limited to the amount you paid for that program in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Joyful With Purpose LLC, Jess Winkler and our team, contractors and partners from any claims, damages or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that come from your use of the programs, your business or your clients, or from your breaking these terms.

14. Ending access

We may suspend or end your access, without a refund, if you break these terms, share your account or our materials, file a chargeback for a valid purchase, or behave in a way that's unlawful or harms the community. You can stop using a program at any time.

15. If we have a disagreement

• Talk to us first. Please email [email protected] and give us 30 days to try to work things out.
• Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
• Arbitration. If we can't resolve it informally, any dispute will be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, held in Pineville, Kentucky, or by video if both of us agree. Claims are brought individually, not as part of a class or group action.

16. Emails from us

When you buy, we'll send emails you need, like receipts, login details and program updates. You'll also be added to our email list for news, tips and offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, let customers know by email or inside the program. The terms in place when you made a purchase apply to that purchase. Continuing to use a program after an update means you accept the updated terms.

18. The legal odds and ends

• These terms, the offer details at checkout and our Privacy Policy are the full agreement between us about your purchase.
• If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
• If we don't enforce part of these terms right away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later.
• You can't transfer your purchase or these terms to someone else. We may transfer them if our business changes hands.
